Video Inspection Pro offers a convenient solution for contractors to streamline the inspection process. The app allows contractors to submit inspection requests seamlessly through their smartphones, connecting them with licensed inspectors swiftly. Contractors input relevant job details like the address, inspection type, and permit number before requesting an inspection. Subsequently, the request enters a queue, and an available ICI or jurisdiction inspector conducts a thorough inspection via live video conferencing.
During the inspection, the inspector guides the contractor to present all critical elements essential for building code compliance. Upon completion, the inspector shares an image displaying the inspection outcomes along with necessary nuances and remarks directly to the contractor's phone. The results can then be printed using a Bluetooth printer and affixed to the permit board for verification by the inspector. Once verified visually, the inspector concludes the inspection and promptly notifies the relevant jurisdiction of the results.
For contractors, this system eliminates the need to pre-schedule inspections and avoids additional trips to the job site, optimizing their workflow. For inspectors, this innovative approach boosts efficiency by reducing travel time and facilitating enhanced collaboration opportunities through recorded inspections.
